Thought Crime Prevention

Robert Spencer has a post at Jihad Watch today about a new Bill which was passed by the American House of Representatives which will, if it becomes law, crack down harshly on anything they see as a "hate crime" - and that will include simply doing what Spencer does every day: pointing out the depredations of the jihad ideology and attempting to draw attention to the elements of Islamic teaching which give rise to violence. Even such an emotionless act, neither hateful nor praising, simply truth-telling based on facts and evidence, will be deemed racist, bigoted and hateful under the new law.

And, of course, America's Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is ecstatic that the Act was passed.
