Round-up

Hi, I'm back and here's the round-up:

1. This is the most interesting racial study I've seen in a while, which shows in particular how whites are less concerned about racism than other races. Of course, that's because all other races are always "victims", innit?

2. A restaurant has been accused of putting racist comments on its menus which were derogatory towards the Chinese. None of the offensive comments are printed in the article.

3. A black man claims that someone is trying to block his house-move into a new neighbourhood because he is black, which the "someone" involved strenuously denies.

I've no idea of the level of racism but this story reminds me of one I heard many years ago. A man selling his house found accusations of racism flung his way after he placed an advert for his house in the paper which read "No Asians, please". Much questioning ensued, until finally investigators got to the bottom of the problem: the man had dictated his ad by phone and what he had actually said was......"No AGENTS, please".
