More Opinion

Once again the only thing I've really been able to find today is an opinion piece; this one's from a student at the University of Oregon. He starts out early on by saying:

Racism is an ignorant, archaic, hateful and shallow way of viewing life and humanity. I wish everyone felt the way I do about the matter.

and goes on to challenge claims by some students that there is racism going on at the University, asking for that ever-elusive thing called proof, the concept of and need for which seems to have been abandoned since "Racism!" became the battle cry of those poor, oppressed minorities.
