According to a study, 50% of Belgians would like to see the Islamic headscarf banned in public places. And guess what the reasons for this are, according to the study's conclusion...
...yep, you guessed it...
...RACISM!
Not that it is a symbol of Islamic misogyny or that it hinders communication and identification, or that it goes against Western values which immigrating Muslims should be assimilating to - things that the report itself admits that those questioned used as their reasoning. Nope, it's racism and we've all gotta be re-educated in diversity and tolerance, or they will probably bomb us again.
I fear for the future of Europe.
