Round-up

1. More Blacks Citing Racism Because It's Easy Syndrome: this time it's "Grey's Anatomy" star Isaiah Washington, who said racism was a factor in his firing from the hit ABC series - when it was because he in fact twice used an anti-gay slur. Reading his comments in the article makes him seem so self-gratifying that I'm almost glad he got fired, even though I've never seen the show. As it happens, if he expressed anti-gay opinions I don't see that as a reason to sack him, either; as I believe that homosexuality is just like race: a target for differing opinions that people need to learn to accept. But no doubt, Washington needs to grow up.
