Honour Killings Linked To "Terror"

There are links between some cases of "honour" violence in Britain and extremist groups abroad, a BBC investigation has been told.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said Islamist terror groups were behind one murder, as well as a case where a woman was threatened and is in hiding.

But the Muslim Council of Britain said "honour" violence was a cultural practice, and nothing to do with faith.

That may be the case, but that doesn't disguise the fact that many Islamists DO commit honour killings, in Britain. There have been many cases of it in the past year. And what are the MCB doing to stop it? Once again we see how rather than specifically condemning violent acts by Muslims in unequivocal terms, and setting up initiatives in schools and mosques to teach against these kinds of actions, the "moderate" Muslim community prefers to bleat about Islamophobia or do everything they can to deny that violence is remotely connected to Islam.

And too many people in the West have been fooled.
