Opinion Round-up...

My round-up today consists of a few opinion pieces:

Firstly there's this one, which attempts to put the Virginia Tech shootings down to racism by the American police in one of the weirdest and most non-sensical arguments I have ever read.

Then, linking in to something I mentioned yesterday, we have another one of those pieces in which the author provides us with the earth-shattering revelation that "racism, bigotry and inequality are alive and well". Gee, that's opened my eyes.

But it's not all bad. This decent article talks about the power that white racism holds when used as a tool for media attention by camera-savvy exhibitionists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, and the way this has skewed the moral compass of many. Interesting reading.
