Round-up

1. Antonio Calderon Martinez, one of the men who "blacked up" his face to greet Lewis Hamilton in Spain, insists he is not a racist: "I am no racist. I work with a lot of immigrants. It was a piece of fun. I am angry British people have misunderstood this. I do not want any more attention in case there are reprisals from immigrants here in Spain. We wanted to give a touch of humour to Montmelo and have a laugh at the father of [Lewis] Hamilton."

And you know what? I forgive Mr. Martinez. It's a shame that our supposedly "tolerant" liberal establishment probably won't.

2. Our Politically-Motivated Left-Wing Propaganda Experiment of the Week is this one: New research by psychologists at Stanford, Pennsylvania State University and the University of California-Berkeley reveals that many Americans subconsciously associate blacks with apes. The findings also show that people are more likely to condone violence against black criminal suspects as a result of their broader inability to accept African Americans as fully human.

I guess when you're as self-loathing as these guys are, it's only natural to concoct an experiment in which you miraculously "prove" that your race hates other races. Because you're superior to all that - you hate only your own race.
